Sydney Airport Check-In times are as follows…
- International Flights – Minimum 3 hours before departure.
- Domestic Flights – Minimum 1 hour before departure.
Average travel time to the airport from Kensington / Zetland area is 30 mins during non-peak times. It is 1 hour during morning and afternoon peak times (7:00-10:00 am and 3:00-7:00 pm).
When making your transfer booking, you MUST consider both the check-in times and the travel times. Pay attention to peak hours. Set your Pick-Up time to suit these factors.

For Domestic travellers – If you have checked baggage, you should allow for 20 minutes from the scheduled landing time before you retrieve baggage from the carousel and make your way out of the terminal.
For International travellers – You will need to clear Passport Control BEFORE picking up baggage from the carousel. Then you need to clear Immigration and Quarantine before leaving the terminal. This process can take 1 to 2 hours, depending upon how many flights are arriving at the same time.
We recommend that you also take these delays into account when booking your transfer Pick-Up time.
